Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on September 21, 1983 in Worthington Ohio is an American actress. She is famous for playing Shannon Rutherford and Kim Mills respectively in ABC's Lost television series. After her parents divorced, she moved with her mom into Los Angeles. She landed her debut role, as Rachel's Room's lead character in 2001 despite struggling with finances. In 2002, she was nominated for an Young Artist Award with her part as the 15-year-old murder victim Martha Moxley. Grace was Shannon Rutherford on the Lost television show in 2004. She played the lead role for two seasons, and also won a Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace was forced to quit the series to focus on her acting career. The actress had been on the show with Tom Welling opposite in The Fog back in 2005. The actress starred as a character in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club in 2007 and Taken (2008) opposite Liam Neeson. The role was reprised in Taken 2 (2013) and Taken 3 (2015). She also played Alice on Malice in Wonderland which is the modern-day interpretation from Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace performed the role of Shannon once more in the show's finale and in two additional episodes. Grace appeared in Californication's 6th season that aired from 2013 until the year 2014. She plays Faith an actress who serves as a model for celebrities and attracts the attention from Hank Moody (David Duchovny). Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. Gyllenhaal is a member of her family and is the elder sibling of Jake Gyllenhaal. Her acting career started as a young teenager when she appeared in small roles in several films from her father. In addition, she was a part of her brother in the 2001 famous film Donnie Darko. Later, she was in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind as well as Mona Lisa Smile (both 2002). Gyllenhaal was praised by critics for her performances as the lead in Secretary (2002, erotic romantic drama) as well as Sherrybaby (606), both of which earned the actress Golden Globe Award nods. The Dark Knight, which was released in 2008, following several highly successful films including World Trade Center (2006), brought Gyllenhaal greater fame. As an unmarried mom in Crazy Heart (2009) she got a nomination in the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. The following year, she starred in comedies and dramas: Nanny McPhee and The Big Bang (2010) Hysteria (2011) and The Won't Back Down (2012). Other roles she has played includes Secret Service agents in White House Down (2013 an action thriller) and actors in Frank (2014 Drama The Kindergarten Teacher 2018) as well as the role of the kindergarten teacher. In 2021, Gyllenhaal has made her scriptwriting and directed debut in the psychological drama The Lost Daughter for which she received an award at the Venice International Film Festival's Best Screenplay Award and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
