Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson is the daughter of British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby (born in Paris) as well as Chris Watson (born in Paris). The couple was moved to Oxfordshire at the age of five where she attended the Dragon School. Emma was aspired to be a professional actress when she was just aged six. The most successful film of 2001, the film set records for its opening day revenue as well as the opening weekend's earnings. The film was praised by critics and the performances of the three young stars. The highly distributed British newspaper The Daily Telegraph called her performance admirable. Emma's performance was nominated and was awarded five awards for the movie.
